These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and services provided by The Overseas (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

The Overseas is an AI-assisted planning platform for travel, study abroad, and immigration. Plans generated by the AI are suggestions and are not a substitute for professional legal, financial, or immigration advice. Pricing, availability, and visa requirements change frequently — please verify with a qualified human advisor before acting on any recommendation.

2. Accounts

You may use the service anonymously to build a plan. To save plans or speak with an advisor you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no scraping, no attempts to bypass authentication, no submitting unlawful or harmful content, no attempts to extract or reverse-engineer the AI's training data.

4. Content and ownership

Plans you build are yours to use. We retain a non-exclusive licence to store and process the data needed to operate the service and improve it.

5. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
